          - YouTube has official K-pop channels, with Korean entertainment companies using YouTube as a means of publicity, where they upload music videos through their channels and channels dedicated to the artist/group
          - An example is G-DRAGON’s recently launched YouTube page where only his songs and music videos are uploaded as to the whole group’s material that is uploaded onto the main BIGBANG channel. This filtered search creates an easier experience for users as they try to access his work and just his work.

o 2011: launch of Korea K-Pop Hot 100 Chart by Billboard
            - Boom in world wide/overseas concerts for Korean artists
o 2006: Sell out concert at New York City and Las Vegas for artist Rain
o 2009: Wonder Girls reached the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart
o 2010: SMTown Live ’10 World Tour organised by SM Entertainment – toured through countries such as Paris, Tokyo and California
o 2011: KBS Concert, Korean Music Wave in Google, United Cube Concert and SHINee in the UK, BIGBANG won Best Worldwide Act at the 2011 MTV Europe Music Awards
o 2012: 2NE1 New Evolution Global Tour in America, BIGBANG World Tour, CN Blue in the UK, â€˜Gangnam Style’ by PSY which stormed the world
