SONG
With the boom in K-pop popularity, I wanted to try and experiment with this new and exciting genre.

The first task was to find a not copyrighted Korean song that I could use. With millions of people using 'YouTube' and using it to upload their own content, it was my main location of searching. I did attempt to search on other sites also such as 'SoundCloud' and 'CYWorld' but had little luck.
I created a playlist so I could 'favourite' tracks that I considered using (as seen in the screenshot to the left). I then narrowed it down to two then finally settled with 'Nokturn Sonata' by Nokturn.
The combination of piano and rain really drew me to the piece as it stood out from others.

Unlike most k-pop songs, this song adopts a darker, more sinister tone with its theme of death and friendship and so I thought this would be a great and interesting challenge for myself.

There are two rappers with a chorus in an electronically modified tone. Although this song does not instantly strike out to be a catchy, typical k-pop song, the different style is fresh and interesting.
