I need two oriental Asian males between the ages of 18 and early 20s. This is so it would fit the image of the Korean ideals of idol groups.
For one of the actors, I contacted a guy I had previously seen perform at the Thames Festival. The fact that he performed in public showed his confidence and his stage presence and domination of the stage meant that chances are he would be comfortable with the camera.

I found his YouTube channel where he has previously uploaded dance and rap covers and his confidence would be perfect for the role.
I messaged him via YouTube then used Facebook to discuss the concept and ideas. These were then finalised through a Skype call where things such as costumes were discussed. He was very enthusiastic and agreed to take part.
Being Korean, he could learn the lyrics more easily and so lip syncing would be easier. Aged at 18, the age also fits the criteria of being a young 'idol'. Also living in London, filming around the area was possible, unlike people who lived further away.
He has also done similar things before such as wearing eye liner for performances and so he was an ideal candidate for the role.

He would take on the role of Lucifer - the second rapper - his face suits the voice and his passion for performance and confidence will help to portray the emotions needed for the video such as anger, frustration and sadness.
