LOCATIONS

I need an empty, slightly run down space with a powerful water source so I can produce a rain scene, inspired by the 2PM 'Without You' video and to mirror the diegetic sound of rain in the song. It will also help to reflect the tone of the video and song, with rain often suggesting sadness and negative emotions. 



I contacted business owner and have been permitted to use the space at the back where the walls are a simple white, the old styled windows create a slightly derelict-like feel and there is a strong water source where I can connect a hose to create fake rain.



The space is slightly small as the rectangular shape limits movement and so lighting and such will have to be carefully planned. The shoot at this location will be during the evening when the sky is dark and so lighting will be a major factor to consider - the white walls reflect light rather brightly and as I will be filming whilst there is activity inside, the light will shine through the window and increase the brightness. This will detract from the abandoned effect I am attempting to achieve and so some further research and experimentation will be needed.
