BIGBANG’s Alive Album provided fans with a chunky box, simply designed with their album and band logo in the centre front.

The patchy grey creates a rusted but sleek effect, creating a mysterious feel to the overall packaging, finished with the royal blue of the text, finishing the VIP image they are sold as, emphasised by the glossy coating.

The grey and blue colour scheme also ties in with their latest image and music videos released, creating an instant link and flow in their activities.

On the back of the exteriors, an image of a member can be found, depending on which edition is bought. This is another clever marketing technique, forcing fans to order more than one copy and increasing revenue.

After sliding off the outer cover, a book of high quality, glossy photos of the members can be found along with a poster of the member – depending on the edition bought and the disc placed inside the box. This may be considered a bit excessive for the UK but it definitely sells. This glossy, fun boxing with its different editions encourage people to buy it as they are visually attractive and different, breaking the boundaries and limitations, giving consumers a new experience.
