The logo is of a rather thick typography. I used a downloaded font named ‘BatmanForeverAlternative’ and the bold, sharp edges and defined lines fit perfectly with the image of the group, creating a sleek coolness without it appearing too harsh and overpowering. I then used the rubber tool to remove slashes of the text, adding an edgier, more masculine finish, marketing them as a cool group instead of a cute such as ‘Boyfriend’. This logo is distinct from most other logos on the current Korean music market as most adopt a simple bold typography compared to this one with slashes – extra detail.

On the poster, the font ‘Gulim’ is used for the other information. This thin, rounded typography softens the more powerful logo and maintain a balance of the group’s image from being too harsh – which would create an unapproachable feel – or too soft – where it lacks appeal as in order to sell, artists must stand out from the competition of the many other artists in the industry but also avoid challenging conventions to far, limiting their audience.

The text is written in white, contrasting and emphasising the dark tones and also reflecting on the narrative of the music video – loss of life and hope.

The dark colours connote the loss and the white symbolises hope and the two tones juxtaposed represent the conflict and confusion and the suddenness of events in the video.
