I used the internet to research methods to create a

fake rain effect. I used YouTube tutorials, film blogs

and other sources to understand and learn of the ways in which fake rain can be created on a DIY budget and then browsed for the needed products and alternatives before purchasing the products in store after deciding on the most cost-efficient and possible way.

I also used the internet to research further on editing techniques and I came across light leaks and burns which I used and it gave my video a more professional finish. I came to understand what and how they were made then found a free ‘light leak pack’ that I downloaded, converted then used in my final product for effect.

I also used YouTube to find tutorials on how to achieve the wide screen effect that is so commonly used in music videos today. This is yet another example of how the internet has become a must-have tool where we can learn and share new and different things and how it has encouraged DIY projects and film production to flourish.

I downloaded fonts to be used for the logos using the internet which gave me access to a range of different font styles, allowing me to experiment freely with the logo so that I could best represent my artist stylistically. I downloaded a few and finally decided on ‘BatmanForeverAlternate’ for the logo and the decision for this was due to the aim to create a cool image that was memorable and starkly noticeable for its writing as well. Additionally it fitted with the style and genre.
